Maps: New Plymouth

Hey folks!

As part of the development of the Fallen Cycle RPG and the world-building of The Witch-Doctor, I’ve begun working on a series of maps of locations that will most likely be featured heavily, or have some impact on the stories being written.

(Click here to see a map of the Northern Territories.)

Welcome to New Plymouth!

NewPlymouthIsland2

A city-island on the edge of a primeval and foreboding ocean, ruled by the Party of Devout Fellowship, New Plymouth represents the most northern “civilized” tip of the Domus.

Located next to the watery ruins of former Boston, the island is made up of various boroughs.

Fisherfolk, sailors, soldiers, ascetics, criminals, antiquarians, miners, prisoners, scav-hunters, and more inhabit this city. Various factions vie for power, with different goals dreamed up. The Devout hold sway, but the ever-shifting alliances and politics of the island-city makes for uneasy bedrock.

Fans of The Witch-Doctor know that scavvers (scavengers) routinely go out into the Wilder to find antiquated technology, and New Plymouth is where it ends up.

New Plymouth is still in the works, and certain aspects of the city-island are liable to change as development continues.

Make sure to check out the Fallen Cycle website to see more as the project continues, and to check out our other projects!
